Many beautiful sets of silk were born on Saturday.

The joy of watching adults working with dye could be compared to children making snowflakes for the first time. Each person so intent on making just the right one, carefully planning each move, and lighting up when they see them unfolded for the first time. It was fun to play like children with everyone that was able to come Saturday morning.

Special thanks go out to Phillip Bryan who was my right hand man(through the whole weekend but) especially through the tie-dye event;

Jim Hauck loaned us his microwave, iron, and dye kit; Patric Nast and Joe Avila mixed dyes; Robert McLoud, assisting with the event in the days before and day of, loaned his dye kit too;

…And my dear partner, Jeffrey, whom was volunteered to cook bacon all morning for the lunch.

THANK YOU ALL.
