Or: "What I did over the weekend"
I suppose it had to happen eventually. After years of tie-dying flags and costumes, I finally tried t-shirts.
Disney asked me to make a bunch of matching t-shirts for a work function. It was a good excuse for me to learn to work with this medium.
Of course, working with cotton is very different than silk. The dyes, the process, the application itself, just about everything is completely different. But creating the designs and tying the fabric really felt like familiar territory.
And you know what? It was fun, too!
Disney just called me from work. The shirts were a big hit.
